1 September 2007 marks a new era for Balttext as it expands its operations to neighbouring Lithuania. Balttext has been successful as a single language vendor of English-Latvian and Latvian - English translations from day one of its operations in Latvia. We have constantly expanded our freelancer database, hired in - house translators and a proof-reader, implemented quality assurance procedures, our client base already spreads across most countries in Europe, Israel, as well as the US and even China. So the next step, of course, was to go international ourselves. So opening another office in Vilnius, Lithuania seemed the right thing to do, says Uldis Sprogis, chairman of the board of Balttext Latvia. Balttext Lithuania is cooperating only with professional translators, well-experienced in the respective subject area. Our motto - high quality services for clients and reliable partnership with translators! Our office is located at Kalvariju 125, Vilnius, points out Olga Platanovic, Manager of Balttext Lithuania. What is to be expected next? We have already put our eyes, so to say, on Estonia and Tallinn in particular, continues Sprogis. Each of the three Baltic States might have their differences, but they are still globally perceived as a single market, therefore we must live up to that expectation and follow our policy to be there where the language of our translations is spoken. |
